Is the glass half-empty, half-full, or twice as big as it needs to be?

Maybe the glass is just as it should be? 50% water 50% air. Is there any reason why it shouldn't be that way? Why give the glass a hard time when there is no law that says it must be completely full of water and nothing else, just let it be itself!! ;)
